[atrb=background,http://i55.tinypic.com/3022pzc.jpg]The name's simply Mhere. I have no formal alias or last name. GENDER ; |
RANK ; Bandit - although I moreover just like to hurt others for the pure, evil fun of it.
PACK ; None, dumbass. I just told you I was a bandit.
AGE ; Roughly 5 years. Birthdate; October 7th.
KIN ; My mother's name was Caldaethra and my father was something like Ken. Didn't bother to remember much about my siblings, although I recall my brother's name - Sadon.
MATE ; Pfft! You make me laugh. Me, a mate? I've tried before, but sometimes I just can't help it. I love to do as I please with females, and no "proposal" can stop that.
ORIENTATION ; Mhere is mostly straight. He can't imagine loving a male . . . although he can't help but look at males in a wrong way when the chance comes along.
PERSONALITY.
APPEARANCE.
HISTORY.
Mhere was born into a litter of three. He had one brother, Sadon, and one sister, Briel. His parents were average wolves – as peasants, they held very little power. His mother, Caldaethra, held more love for her pups than the father, Ken. He honestly did not want pups. He took no part of raising them, though he did hold a soft spot for little Briel.
Mhere despised his sister because of this. She was a goody-good angel, and he hated that. He wanted to teach her a lesson. Every day he would watch her soak up praises for helping his father. He only wanted to be noticed, to be loved by his parents. And so did Sadon.

Mhere prodded Sadon roughly. “Sadon, wake up! Come on, let’s go down to the shores and see if we can catch some fish.” Sadon yawned, narrowing his eyes at his brother. Their pelts were almost opposite colors, Sadon’s being a light grayish-brown and Mhere’s being dark black. Briel had a mixture of them both; her fur was dark gray. However, Mhere was the only wolf in the litter that had markings, which he believed he got from Ken.
Currently the pups were all six months old. Soon they were to leave the den, but not quite yet; their parents still watched over them until they were old enough to leave the den. “Won’t we get in trouble though?” Sadon said. Mhere rolled his eyes, his long claws digging into the ground impatiently. His brother wasn’t the brightest wolf on the block. “Not if we don’t tell anyone. Hurry up!” He padded confidently out of the den, sneaking past his sleeping parents. It was dawn, and not many wolves that would recognize him would be up now. He and his brother sneaked through the entrance of Ordain, sliding down the sand-dunes that led to the beach.
Mhere’s bright eyes lit up as he viewed the ocean. Most things bored him to the point of sleep, but the ocean was one thing that always fascinated him. Large, never-ending, and blue like the sky; yet it twinkled like there was a million stars in it. Sand sunk between his paws as he stumbled further down the beach, stopping only when the water was up to his haunches. His brother, who was more compact than him, took longer to get there.
Sadon smiled stupidly at Mhere. “See any fish?” Mhere looked around. “No. I wish I was bigger so I could go further out!” Suddenly Sadon rushed forward, waves splashing off his body. Mhere’s eyes twinkled with curiosity as his brother returned, a fish hanging in his jaws. “Look! I caught one!”
Mhere smiled and shivered. “Let’s head back. Bring that with you so we can show it to dad.” Sadon nodded, eager to earn praise from his father. When they got back to the warm sand, Mhere lay down, letting the water fall off his body. After a moment of silence, Sadon quietly said, “Don’t you hate how dad and mom always pay attention to Briel more than us?”
A wicked gleam entered Mhere’s eyes. Just what he had wanted to hear. He nodded, putting emphasis into his voice. “You’re right. We should do something about that, don’t you think? Put Briel to shame.” Sadon agreed. “So what are we gonna do?” Mhere beckoned Sadon to come closer. “I have a plan . . . “

“Sadon? Mhere? Where are youuu?” Briel called, her tail wagging. She loved to play hide-and-seek, especially with her brothers, whom she seldom spent time with. After a few more minutes, worry began to cloud over the excited gleam that had been in her eyes. “Sadon . . . ? Mhere . . . ? You guys, I’m getting scared.”
Suddenly she heard a rustle in the bushes behind her. Before she could turn around, a massive force tackled her. She fell to the ground, too weak to fight; she was smaller than her brothers, and was the weakest of the litter. She could not fight well. “Hah! Hide-and-seek? You’re an idiot, Briel.”
Briel blinked the fuzziness out of her eyes and looked up, confusion entering her soft golden eyes. “M-Mhere? What’s going on?” The young male bared his teeth. “Shut up. Don’t play stupid. You’ve been stealing mom and dad away from us, and you know it – all because you’re too weak to get anyone else’s love and respect.” There was still cluelessness in Briel’s gaze. “Us? Y-you mean . . . Sadon, too?”
Mhere chuckled, stepping forward. “Yes. And we want you gone.” He unsheathed his deadly claws, holding them up to her hind leg. He dug them in her flesh until her blood warmed his paw pads, staining her leg red. Briel whimpered in pain. “Leave. Leave and never come back; don’t ever show your face here again.” Defiance entered his sister’s eyes. “Why?” She cried. “Why do you do this?”
“Because I hate you Briel. We all hate you.”
“No you don’t, Mhere!” Briel said hoarsely. “Mom and dad love you. I love you. And we can help you.” Mhere hissed, raising his blood-stained claws. “I’m starting to get tired of you, Briel, and I think you need another wound to prove it.”
Suddenly everything became chaos. Mhere flashed his claws out, about to claw Briel’s eye, when a whoosh knocked him flat. He rolled and landed headfirst. “Stop it, Mhere!” Growled a deep voice. Mhere got up, shaking dust from his pelt and spitting out blood and a loose tooth that had broken off from his fall. This time it was his turn to be confused, if only for a second.
“Sadon? I thought you agreed to help me . . . “ Sadon helped his sister up. “Yes, but not this way. Not with violence.” Tension crackled in the air like lightning. The two brothers faced each other, claws out and eyes narrowed. This was the start of a long rivalry, which would span both their lifetimes. Danger hung in the gleaming teeth and eyes of both brutes, until Briel stepped in.
“Don’t fight . . . please,” she whined. Sadon straightened his back, forcing his fur to lie flat. “Leave. Leave and don’t ever show your traitorous face here again, Mhere. And if you do . . .” He unsheathed his claws. “Briel won’t be here to help you.”
Mhere flashed a spiteful look at both his siblings. “And the gods will not be on your side, Sadon. For when we meet again, I shall triumph, even if I must die doing so.” And with that, he left, never to see their faces again.
Oh, but I will get my revenge. No matter what it takes.
